Virginia McGuire
Head Director
Virginia McGuire is ecstatic to be the director of theatre at Rockwall High School! She is starting her 9th year in education and 9th year in Rockwall ISD. Mrs. McGuire was the 2022 Rockwall ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year. Mrs. McGuire is a proud graduate of Texas Tech University where she earned a bachelor of art in theatre and received her certification in secondary education through the renowned Techteach program. Mrs. McGuire has grown up around the arts her entire life and truly has a passion for instilling a love of theatre in each of her students. When not at a rehearsal or in the classroom, you can find Mrs. McGuire spending time with her husband, Patrick, baby Marshall Wade, and their three kitties: Rudy, Olive, and Ducky.

Kimberlyn Helin
Technical Director
Miss Helin is thrilled to be the Technical Director at Rockwall High School! She is starting her 10th year in education and year four at RHS. She is so excited to bring so many stories to life this year. Miss Helin grew up overseas in Madrid, Spain until she returned to study education at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. Miss Helin is passionate about theatre and helping students discover who they are truly meant to be through this amazing art form. Before moving from Washington to Texas, she served as theatre director for five years, and even started her own theatre company- Banner Theatre Company. When not at a rehearsal or in the classroom, you can find Miss Helin reading, going on adventures, thrifting & antiquing, and trying new things. She also loves hanging out with friends and family.
PLANS FOR THE YEAR: Building up capable, ingenious, problem solving students who can tackle all the amazing projects that are in store; Creating all the worlds and telling all the stories.
Chloe Munson
Assistant Director (ROCK 9)
Miss Munson is so excited to be joining the Rockwall High School Theatre Team this fall! Miss Munson grew up in Grapevine, TX and has been involved in Theatre since she was in 3rd grade! She discovered her love of teaching Theatre in High School and has been working toward becoming a teacher since then! She is a graduate from Abilene Christian University, with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Education! She cannot wait to begin her teaching career and share her love for the powerful art of storytelling with all of her future students!!
PLANS FOR THE YEAR: To foster a learning environment where students feel safe to grow, take risks, critically think, and build upon their perspectives through the stories we get to shape, together.
